"He said to them 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm." Mt. 8:26

The rest is still unwritten...
We leave tomorrow. I have that Natasha Bedingfield song running through my head. It seems to fit. I am excited and comforted to know that God knows what all our tomorrows hold. I'm signing off now, and will update on the other side (of the Atlantic).

A happy family
We spent yesterday in Indianapolis with my sister's family. The girls went shopping and the guys went to a ball game. When we reunited at the Faris house, I passed Nora off to her dad, showed him my purchases, and heard the tales of the ball field. As I chuckled at Stephen's story of attempts to catch a foul ball, Ellie (our niece) came up to us and said, "You are a happy family." It was so cute and made me all warm inside. Adults sometimes make polite comments that don't reflect reality, but children rarely do. I'm glad we enjoy each other, love each other and that others see that. Truly happy families are only possible by God's grace. I'm so grateful that Nora's aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents love the Lord!

Alive and well...
In the last week, we have lodged in five different states if that gives you any indication of the pace we are keeping. It has been great fun seeing family and friends -goodbyes aside. We fly to Scotland in two weeks. (we're praying our Visas arrive in time!). Nora celebrated her first birthday on July 28 -she is so much fun these days as her personality continues to develop! Afraid that's all I have time for right now. I'm sitting in a coffee shop in Indiana grateful for free wi-fi. We'll keep in touch. It will be sporadic for a few more weeks, but after September 20th or so, correspondance will be my part-time job :)
