Snapshots from my mom and sister's visit. As soon as my flew into Glasgow, we packed them into our rental car and headed out for Skye. In all, the journey lasted 8 hours with a couple stops and a ferry ride. The Isle was amazing...definitely the most dramatic scenery I'd seen in Scotland during my time there. The last photo of the castle is actually on the mainland taken on our return trip to St. Andrews.

That castle is called Eileen Donan and is actually the home of my distant predecessors the first Mackenzies... Bet you'd have treated me better if you knew that eh?
